The new window display at Gather in the Fountain Square Mall will have you seeing red! For the next month, you can get a close-up look at “Construction in Red" from the 2014 show, designed by Danielle Urschel and Jennifer Deam (modeled by Katherine Thomas, left). Plastic fencing and bits of hardware were used to create this amazing outfit. February 6 - the day of the next Gallery Walk - is National Wear Red Day. The #bloomingtongoesred windows around town are in support of American Heart Association - Go Red for Women - bringing awareness to the fact that “heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, killing more than all forms of cancer combined. For more than a decade the red dress has been the symbol of women joining together to end heart disease. When you wear the red dress, you are raising your voice to save the lives of women.” Gallery staff will wear red on February 6, and have some literature available. For more information, go to GoRedForWomen.org Thank you, Talia Halliday, owner of Gather :handmade shoppe & Co.
