We'd like to pass on this excited event happening this weekend! Here's a word from our friends at Bloomington North High School: In 1981, Middle Way House first opened its doors to shelter abused women and their children. Over thirty years later, they continue to empower women and help them start anew after facing adversity and abuse.
Our Fourth Annual Project Middle Way Fashion Show is taking place to raise money and awareness for an organization that has contributed so much to the Bloomington community. The last three years have generated a lot of publicity, much more than we expected when we started. The first year, we had around 80 attendees. Last year, we had over 250! We are hoping this year will be even bigger so we can spread the word about Middle Way House, as well as support local businesses that have helped make this annual show possible. The show will take place on Saturday, February 28th at Bloomington High School North. We will be serving refreshments before the event, starting at 6:00 pm where we will have a silent auction, wonderful hors d'oeuvres, and music from the band The Double Digits. The show will proceed at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the show or reserved by emailing [email protected]. Tickets are $5 for children under 12, $10 for students, $15 for adults. We are looking to raise over $5,000 this year. However you can help us would make a huge impact on Middle Way House and the Bloomington community. For those of you that cannot make it to the show, please consider donating to Project Middle Way’s cause.
